7. Sri Agasthiar Nakshatra Vaakya Rohini Chandra Chakram
The above ideogram is the Agasthiar Nakshatra Vakya Rohinin Chandra Chakram - a yantra or pictorial representation of Chandra and the 27 nakshatrams along with their salutation mantras as specified
by Sri Agasthiar and conveyed to us by Sathguru Venkataraman.
Salute Chandra and the 27 nakshatra devatas (27 birth star deities) using this figure
while reciting the 27 propitiatory birth star prayer verses composed by Sri Agasthiar.
These birth star prayer verses, once again conveyed to us by Sathguru Venkataraman, are given below.
It's ideal if you can recite these 27 verses 27 times.
Since each one of us is associated with one of these 27 nakshatrams,
all of humankind is under the benign rule of the 27 nakshatra devata spiritual beings.
Hence reciting Sri Agasthiar's nakshatra hymn 27 times as part of our new year worship
is stellar spiritual service to humans everywhere.
Offer fragrant flowers (e.g., lotus, rose, sampangi, saamandhi, thumbai, sangu pushpam, panneer pushpam, etc.)
for each verse recited. Do this with your family.
Let each member of your family offer a fragrant flower for each verse that's recited.
Create a hill of various flowers in respectful worship of the 27 nakshatra devatas.
Each kind of flower will win you a different kind of blessing.
Thus offer fragrant flowers of various kinds in worship.
But make sure that the flowers are fragrant.
Flowers without fragrance must NOT be used in any worship procedure.
Of course, as we have mentioned in other articles, no worship
procedure is complete without serving the poor.
On Pramaadhi New Year Day, make sure you feed the poor to their hearts' content
and pray for the opportunity to do it through out the year.
This is very important.
