Eyes of Love

Speaking with God

The Blessings of Happiness, Bliss, Peace and Tranquility

OM. Once upon a time, the Lord and the Mother visited a little coastal town in the south of India. Here in this quaint little town, the Lord was so full of bliss and interacted with the local people with so much love that the Siddhas and Maharishis, who were observing this leela (divine play) of the Lord, were deeply touched by the extreme kindness the Lord was displaying for the people.

Describing this divine leela, Sathguru Venkataraman said the Lord would not sleep more than 3 hours each day. He spent the remaining hours engrossed in conversations with the people and He displayed such tenderness and affection in the way He interacted with them. His love for the people was so intense that the whole place was entranced by the waves of divine love emanating from the Lord for His children.

The Sathguru said that the Lord's eyes were brimming with so much love. Seeing this divine sight over and over in that little town, the Siddhas were moved to ask: "Lord Divine, May we make a request?" The Blessed Lord replied, "Please don't say that! Command me for I am here to obey the commands of Siddhas and Maharishis." Such sublime humility was displayed by the Lord! What deep lessons He teaches us by example! (continued below...)

The Siddhas said, "Lord, We have had the great good fortune of being with you in several places. But what we have seen here in this town is something remarkable. Your love for the people and your kind, tender interactions with them have touched us so deeply that we want to ask You if you would bless this sacred place (that has made Your Love brim to the fullest) so that whomsoever comes here for Your Darshan will get the blessing of You looking at them with eyes brimming with love and the indescribable pleasure of speaking with You and interacting with You?"

Hearing this selfless request of the Siddhas and Maharishis, the Lord said, "So be it. This sacred place will have the blessings you have asked for. Whomsoever wants to be looked at by the Lord with eyes full of love will get it. And whomsoever wants to speak with God will be able to. Furthermore, this place will have my Kaartaveeryarjuna shakti so that those who want to be reunited with loved ones will be able to and those who want to get back what they lost will be able to. This sacred place will be home to blessings of happiness, bliss, mental peace and tranquility," said the compassionate Lord. Thus it is that the darshan of the Lord in this sacred place gives us such choice blessings by the command of the Lord Himself.

Now, where is this sacred place that has received such incredible blessings from the Lord? That is the subject of the text below.

This sacred power center was also picked by Sathguru Venkataraman as the temple of honor for this coming Vishnupathi on August 17, 2009.

To learn more about this blissful power center of the Lord, read on.     OM.

August 17, 2009 - Second Vishnupati of the Virodhi Year

VISHNU DAY!

Second Virodhi Varusha Vishnupathi Punya Kaalam

The Second Vishnupathi auspicious time period of the Virodhi year occurs on late night August 16 IST (Indian Standard Time) and continues into the morning of August 17, 2009 IST.

The Siddha revelations regarding this August 2009 Vishnupathi have been described in the June, July and August 2009 issues of Sri Agasthia Vijayam, Sathguru Venkataraman's monthly magazine.

Click here to learn more about Vishnupathi and why it is important. As we have mentioned numerous times before, the time period from 0130 hours to 1030 hours is extremely auspicious on each Vishnupathi Day. Make sure that you use these 9 hours wisely by devoting yourself to pure Narayana Bhakti (devotion) and worship at least during this period.

What is Vishnupati?

The Divinities for this Vishnupathi (Aug 17, 2009)

The temple of honor during this Vishnupati on Aug 17, 2009 is the Sri KalyanaRama SwamiTemple in Mimisal which is a coastal town in Tamil Nadu. See map below.

Mimisal is a Shiva-Vishnu sacred space that is 12 km from Avudaiyar Kovil, 35 km from Aranthangi and 75 km from Pudukottai, Pattukottai and Karaikudi. It is on the Sethu Paatai, Lord Sri Rama's path as He walked towards Mother Sita - Nagapattinam, Muthupettai, Mimisal, Thondi, Rameswaram. It is a spiritual power center not known to many, but we pray to Lord Shri Ram that this article should rectify that and make this Mimisal temple of His known to everyone.

Mimisal is also known as Gopala Pattinam which means the place of Krishna and there is a nearby village known as Krishnaji Pattinam.

Mother Sita Devi and Lord KalyanaRama are the divinities of honor during this Vishnuapthy along with Lord Lakshmana and Lord Hanuman. See darshan pics below.

Simple Siddha Mantras for Lord Shri Ram

Mimisal Shiva Temple Entrance

Here are some Siddha revelations on Lord Kalyana Rama of Mimisal given to us by Sathguru Venkataraman of the Agasthiar Siddha Lineage.

Lord Ram's Ananda Shakti in Mimisal

Sathguru Venkataraman described the Lord Rama of Mimisal as One whose eyes are brimming with love for people. It was here that Lord Shri Ram interacted with so much love, tenderness and affection towards the people that even the Siddhas who are used to the Lord's extreme kindness were deeply touched. At their request, Lord Rama and Mother Sita empowered this place with Their ananda shakti (power of bliss) so that whomsoever visits Mimisal and has the darshan of Lord KalyanaRama and Mother Sita will become a fit vehicle for receiving bliss from the Lord.

More than other temples, this temple is a repository of the bliss of Sita-Rama wedding darshan shakti. The Lord was so happy here along with Mother Sita Devi that this happiness shakti is made available to those who come here for the Lord's darshan.

Mimisal Temples

Lord Rama's Full Avatar Shaktis in Mimisal

This Mimisal power center of Lord Shri Ram is a sacred place where Lord Rama and Mother Sita have deposited their FULL avatar shaktis here for the sake of devotees. ALL the blessing shaktis of the Lord shine forth in this sacred space of Mimisal making this one of the most important Rama Shakti sacred spots in the world and thus one of the most important temples for devotees of Lord Rama.

Peace and Tranquility Blessings in Mimisal

One of the great blessings that the Lord gives us here is that of mental peace and tranquility. The Lord Himself was attracted by the peace and tranquility that seemed so natrual to this place, the humility of the people and the spiritual shakti of the place including that of trees and plants here. So the Lord stayed here for a while with Mother Sita and performed many worship procedures and dedicated the shakti of His poojas to the people here and to those who visit this sacred space. One of these special blessings is the blessing of peace of mind and tranquility that He gives to those who come here for His darshan. This darshan of Lord KalyanaRama of Mimisal is one of the best ways of getting the priceless blessing of mental peace and tranquility.

Mimisal Temples

Lord Shri Ram, the Great Boon Giver of this Kali Yuga

With His FULL avatar shaktis, Lord Shri Rama graces us here in Meemisal as Kalyana Rama Swami - the Maha Varada (Great Boon Giver) of this Kali Yuga. It is here in Mimisal that Subaga Maharishi taught the world that Rama Worship yields results that much faster.

Siddha Shakti in Mimisal

Numerous Siddhas and Maharishis came here to visit the Lord and thus this sacred place is full of the shakti of Siddhas and Maharishis too.

Lord's Darshan Bliss in Mimisal

At the request of the Siddhas, Lord Ram and Mother Sita gave many different darshans here. Thus there is endless darshan bliss here in Meemisal.

Pitru Moksha Shakti in Mimisal

Countless pitru ancestral beings came to Mimisal to visit Lord Shri Rama and Mother Sita. Thus the sea shore at Mimisal became a Pitru Mukti (ancestor salvation) site ideal for doing tarpanam.

Lord Rama's Instruction For Husbands and Wives

One of the most important points about Mimisal is that husband and wife should worship together at Mimisal. Why? The pinnacle of dharma (righteousness) is Lord Shri Ram. The pinnacle of chastity is Mother Seetha Devi. Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita Themselves offered many different kinds of worship in Mimisal in the company of Siddhas and Maharishis and Lord Rama gave us His loving command that husband and wife should offer worship together in Meemisal. This is known as dampati pooja and this is very important here.

So in accordance with the Lord's command, Sathguru Venkataraman said that married couples (irrespective of how old they may be) must visit Mimisal and have darshan of the Lord here at least once. The Sathguru further said that couples should take a vow that they will visit the Lord here at least once in six months and have His darshan.

The Sathguru further said that the Mimisal sacred space of Lord Rama and Lord Shiva is a great place for performing the wedding renewal ceremonies that are traditionally done at the end of one's 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th and 90th years (known as sashtiabdapoorthi (60th), sadabhishekam (80th) and so on). If these ceremonies are done here in these Mimisal temples, these couples will get the full benefit of these ceremonies, said the Sathguru.

Mimisal Temples

Lord Ram's compassion for animals and other creatures

The great jeevatmika truth of the Ram Avatar is that the Lord showed His compassion not just to humans but also to birds, animals, creatures, trees and plants. He talked to all of them with love. It is here in this sacred space of Mimisal that Lord Ram gave mukti (salvation) to a frog named Mandoosibi that had worshipped Him selflessly for a very long time. Thus, Mimisal is so sacred that even frogs could get mukti here.

Worshipped by both Rama and Krishna

Lord Shiva graces Mimisal in the divine form of Arjunavaneswara. Both Lord Shri Ram (in the Treta Yuga) and Sri Krishna (in the Dvapara Yuga) worshipped Lord Shiva Arjunavaneswarar here. Thus this sacred space of Mimisal is at once a Rama-Krishna shakti space and also a Shiva-Vishnu shakti space.

Rama Krishna Kirtan Shakti in Mimisal

Sathguru Venkataraman said that Mimisal is a special place for the special 16 name mantra of Rama and Krishna: Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare. It is particularly important to chant these 16 names of the Lord here. This is one of the special places for singing and doing kirtan with these 16 divine names, said the Sathguru.

The RIPENING of Rama Mantra Chanting Practice in Mimisal

Maha Guru Agasthiar, Siddhas and Maharishis got leadership blessings here in Mimisal. One of the great boons given to Rama devotees who come to Mimisal for the Lord's darshan is the ripening of their Rama Mantra chanting practice.

During Rama's student days, He had a friend by name ArjunaGopita. This ArjunaGopita searched for Lord Ram throughout the Lord's stay in the forests. During this time, his mind was always occupied in the thought of his dear Rama of his student days. Finally when the Lord was in Mimisal, ArjunaGopita too happened to come to Mimisal and there he saw his dear friend Rama. Bursting with the emotion of the moment, he cried out "Hey Rama" just as a friend would. But at that time, he saw Siddhas and Maharishis worshipping the Lord. Immediately, he realized that his mode of addressing the Lord was not altogether appropriate. Struck by remorse, he cried out again: "Hey Lord Kalyana Rama Swami, Please be here with your complete kalyana gunas and give darshan here. Bless your worshippers with showers of Your Divine Grace forever and ever," he prayed.

And at that very moment, he gained realization! He had spent his entire life thinking about Lord Shri Ram and so when he saw the Lord again, he gained the fruit of constant contemplation of the Lord. He gained realization! What do we learn from this? We learn that Mimisal is a sacred space where our Rama Nama Japa chanting practice ripens and yields the fruit of Rama realization! Mimisal is a place where Rama Nama Shakti is converted to the fruit of Rama's Divine Grace and hence the Siddhas refer to this place as Rama Kani Bhoomi, said Sathguru Venkataraman (kani = fruit, bhoomi = place).

Mimisal Temples

For those who want peace

Those without peace in life, job, relations, friends and society should worship here in Mimisal on special Rama days such as Punarvasu nakshatra days, Navami the 9-th thithi days and also on Thiruvonam nakshatra days, Wednesdays and Saturdays. They should offer thaila kaappu (especially using saambraani thailam or sandhanaadhi thailam) - a coat of oil applied on Lord KalyanaRama's divine form. They should feed the poor with paanagam, puliyodharai and vada. Those who do this regularly will get the blessing of peace in their married life.

For those who want to be reunited with loved ones - Kaartaveeryaarjuna Shakti in Mimisal

There are so many reasons why loved ones get separated. It could be because of job pressures that the family lives in one place and the husband (or wife) lives in another. It could be because of enmity, estrangement or lack of understanding. It could be because of military posting or education reasons. Whatever the reason, if one wants to be reunited with loved ones, Mimisal is an ideal place to get that blessing.

The Lord has blessed us with His Kartaveerarjuna shakti here in Mimisal. There are not that many shrines where the Lord's Kaarthaveeryarjuna Shaktis are prevalent. There are not that many Matsya Avatar Shakti Temples or Koorma Avatar Shakti Temples. But during these avatars, the Lord's Kartaveeryarjuna shakti was very much prevalent. The Lord has made His Kartaveerarjuna shakti available here.

So chant Kaartaveeryarjuna mantras here and pray to the Lord to be reunited with relatives and friends from whom you have been separated or who are presumed lost. Pray to Him to get back what you have lost. Worship regularly at the temples of Arjunavaneswara Shiva and Kalyana Rama and serve the paanagam sweet drink to the poor. (There are special worship procedures for this.)

For those involved in Sea Trade

Those involved in sea trade should start new projects after doing vaastu pooja here. This will be good for them.

Mimisal Temples

For those who want auspicious, happy events to happen in their lives and homes

There are people in whose lives auspicious events just don't seem to happen. So they resign themselves to the sad thought that such events will never happen in their lifetimes. But they don't have to. Why not? Read on.

There are 5 kinds of gnana veda parrots - panchadi, panchadasi, panchamadhi, etc. - that followed Lord Sri Rama everywhere. It is these parrots that are found with Mother Meenakshi of Madurai, Mother Andal of Srivilliputtur and Mother Thungastanambika of Kanjanagaram (near Mayiladuthurai). The other two will be revealed later. These veda shakti parrots worshipped together in a tree that is in Mimisal. What for? They selflessly prayed to Lord Rama for the sake of those people in whose lives auspicious, happy events have become but a dream.

So people who want auspicious, happy events to happen in their lives shoudo the following pooja for these 5 divine parrots. Circle the Rama and Shiva temples here 5 times with deep faith and devotion. Walk slowly and carefully like a pregnant woman would. Couples should do thalaippu mudi pradakshinam where the tip of the husband's upper cloth is tied to the tip of the wife's sari. After circling these shrines 5 times as mentioned here, fill 5 vessels with waters from sacred rivers such as the Ganga and the Kaveri, milk mixed with karupatti, fruits, the 9 navadhanya grains, cashews and raisins. Leave these at the foot of the big tree here or hang them like a cradle on the teee. With this, your job is done. Don't look back to check if parrots are eating your offerings. Feed the poor with puliyodharai, medhu vada and panagam. This is important. This special pooja for these 5 divine parrots will make auspicious, happy events happen.

Mimisal RAMA

The Gifting of Clothes in Mimisal - vastra dhaanam

As we mentioned above, husband and wife should do thalaippu mudi pradakshinam in Mimisal since it is a "husband-wife pooja shakti" temple. The tip of the upper garment of the husband should be tied to the tip of the wife's sari using strips of fiber from the stem of a banana leaf. After doing this circling of the temples, gift a full set of clothes to at least one poor couple while chanting vastra devata preeti sampath margaha and aadai porulaagi atthanaiyum vaartharulum odai punalaagi olirum dhiraviyamey vaazhi vaazhi vaazhi. This gifting of clothes in Mimisal will come back to you in the form of blessings. Rama and Sita did this pooja here at Mimisal as suggested by Agni Purantaka Maharishi.

Mimisal RAMA

Sacred Places in and around Mimisal

When Lord Rama was here in Mimisal, He visited the nearby village of Manamelkudi and did pooja for Lord Ranganatha. Sathguru Venkataraman had picked the Manamelkudi temple as a Vishnupati temple a few years ago. At that time, the Sathguru had said that the divine form of Ranganatha worshipped by Lord Rama here may become available in the vicinity of Manamelkudi. Manamelkudi is called Ponnagaram (the place of gold) since Lord Rama made gold kavacha ornamental coverings for Lord Ranganathar in Manamelkudi.

When Rama was here in Mimisal, so many people wanted to see Him, but Mimisal was too small to hold them all. So the Lord Himself visited the nearby places on foot and talked with everyone without leaving anyone disappointed that they could not interact with the Lord. Many goshalas were established to house cows to provide milk and milk based products for the people. This place is known as Kattumavadi (kattum aa adi = the place where cows are kept).

Numerous Siddhas and rishis had come to Mimisal to be with Lord Rama. The place where they stayed came to be called PunniyaVayal, the field of the results of good deeds! An appropriate name indeed! The Lord used to come to this place at 3 a.m. every morning to worship the Siddhas and Maharishis. Such humility displayed by the Lord Himself. This is such an important lesson for us.

Mimisal RAMA

As the Lord walked to where the Maharishis were, peacocks would gather together and dance their welcome dance for the Lord. This place is known as Kalaabam.

Maharishis such as Vasishta, Bharadwaja, Jaimini, Durvasa, Parasara and others did daily pooja and homa fire ceremonies along with Lord Rama. These places are known as BrahmaVayal, PunniyaVayal and KundakaVayal (the place where homa kundas were arranged).

The 330 million devas came to see the Lord. The place where they stayed is known as Amaradakki.

Thus there are many sacred places in and around Mimisal. So stay here a few days and walk these places that were walked by the Lord. Touch the earth here with your hands and worship the ground that made contact with the Lord's Feet. Feed the poor in these places. The result will be a lot of punya shakti. Use this punniya shakti wisely and lead a good life.

Near Mimisal is also the village of Theeyathur where Mother Sita in Her previous Mahalakshmi incarnation worshipped Lord SahasraLakshmeeswara Shiva with 100,000 lotus flowers daily. This is the temple picked many years ago by Sathguru Venkataraman as the nakshatra birth star temple for the 26-th nakshatra Uttara Bhadra (Uttiratadhi).

Special Tharpanam at Mimisal

Countless pitru ancestral beings came to Mimisal to visit Lord Shri Rama and Mother Sita. Thus the sea shore at Mimisal became a Pitru Mukti (ancestor salvation) site ideal for doing tarpanam.

In these sea waters, place banyan leaves and on top of these banyan leaves, place darbha grass and offer tharpanam with sesame seeds and water. This special tharpana is for those who died after surgery, those who died due to wounds inflicted by weapons or due to accidents, those who died in war, those whose bodies were cut up or dismembered. Such deaths require special tharpanam and the Siddha solution is this special banyan leaf tarpana in the Mimisal sea waters.

Mimisal Temples

On Vishnupathi Day (Aug 17, 2009)

On Vishnupati Day (Aug 17, 2009), there will be numerous maharishis and siddhas in their sookshma (subtle) form in the Mimisal area, especially near the temple of Lord KalyanaRama and Arjunavaneswara Shiva. So on this day, use saatvik atma shakti foods alone for feeding the poor. Examples include paanagam, poli, lime idiyappam, puliyodharai, aravanai payasam, ellodharai, medhu vadai, keerai vadai, semiya curd rice, jack fruit kootu rice. You can also use foods that you like yourself. On this day, feed the cows for sure with food, fruits, grass, hay, etc.

Anga Pradakshina in Mimisal

As we mentioned, both Rama and Krishna worshipped Shiva here as Arjunavaneswara. Lord Rama and Lord Lakshmana did anga pradakshina here making this a great place for doing anga pradakshinam (circling the temple by rolling on one's body).

Urgent Renovation Need

During Krishna's puja of Shiva here, the sacred arjuna tree (maruda maram) of Ramayana times gave darshan. The Pandavas saw it as Siva Rama Vruksha Jyoti. Thus the special Shanta Arjuna Vruksha Jyoti shaktis can be got here.

There is an urgent renovation seva that needs to be done here. Plant an arjuna tree (marudha maram) as temple tree here in its own enclosure. This service is a great seva that will protect one's progeny (kids and future generations) and will bestow a lot of punniya shakti on the one who does it.

These are some of the Siddha revelations on Mimisal, Lord Kalyana Rama, Lord Arjunavaneswara Shiva and the Vishnupathi of Aug 17, 2009 given to us many years ago by the "Vishnupati Kanda Siddha" Sathguru Venkataraman. Make use of these Siddha secrets and get the blessings of Lord Kalyana Rama on this Vishnupathi.
